Sony Digital 8 Camcorder dcr-trv260 to work with Vista ?
I am trying to use windows movie maker to make a movie with my Sony Digital 8 Camcorder dcr-trv260.
I can’t find a driver for it, I have downloaded the “Vista Fix”, Sony picture Utility, Picture Package and nothing works!!! ahhhhh! I have been at this for hours (im sure you know how that feels). I am using a digital video / USB cable. the dv is in the camera. Do I need an ieee 1394 cable? PLEASE HELP…….THANKS EVERYONE

Sony decided not to support the the USB streaming feature on Windows Vista or Windows 7. Thanks for nothing Sony. You will HAVE to get the i-link/firewire cable and have a firewire port on your computer to get your video off of it.
I hate Sony.
