Sanyo Digital Camera-HELP PLZ!!!?
I have a Sanyo VPC S500 and when i connect it to my computer through the USB Port to transfer photos from it to my computer, it keeps saying that the device is not recognised. I checked and apparantly there is no driver with the camera. I think that this may be the problem. I still have my installation Cd but all it has on there is Adobe Reader for the instruction manuel and some photo programmes. Does anyone know why Windows wont recognise the camera and y i can’t transfer pictures to my computer?
So many people have problems with cameras talking to computers. Me for example. Most people give up and get a card reader. You’ll find card readers for your SD card quite cheaply (around $10).
These plug into the USB and your card will appear in ‘My Computer’ as a drive. You can then just copy the pictures out of the picture folder (which will have an odd name… if it’s not the first you look in it will be the second!)
This is no good for the internal memory. If you have some pictures in there then my answer just hasn’t helped a bit…
