Buying a Digital Camera Online
Recently, I bought a Digital Camera online from http://www.gkvale.com. The cost of the Camera was around Rs. 4,777. I bought it online as it is convenient, saves time & the transaction was secure.
I would like to document the buying process.
First I went to lot of comparison Shopping Search Engines. Some of them were compareindia , naaptol, tolmol , pricesbolo etc.,
Be careful buying digital cameras with prices that seem too cheap to be true. While this certainly isn’t the case of every low price retailer, some companies will bait you in with a low-priced camera, only to tantalize you with ‘bargain’ package deals that may contain substandard or closeout memory, batteries, camera cases, or the like.
These dealers may lose money if they just sell the digital camera at their rock bottom price, but by selling a package deal they can profit. Thus, you may try ordering just the camera, they may apply a pressure sales tactic, and if you do not purchase the entire package or an extended warranty, suddenly the digital camera is on backorder and will be ‘available at a later time’.
Always shop around and only buy equipment from trustworthy businesses that you know will be around later in case of problems with your purchase. And this tip is not to say that all package deals are bad – just make sure to purchase only what you need.
I narrowed down to a Digital Camera manufactured by Samsung i.e., Samsung D-760 .The MRP mentioned was Rs. 8,990.00 .

Digital Camera Samsung S760 lens open and close not crooked. beeps twice when i turn it off and blurry picture
I have a digital camera Samsung S760. When i turn camera on its normal. when i take a picture the picture is blurry. When i turn camera off it beeps twice and shuts off. and you can here the lens clicking. i tried removing the batteries for a while but, it still didn’t work. and the lens are not crooked..i tried straightening them out but they were already straight. help please?
I have a Canon camera & mine ended up having about the same problems yours is having. I took mine to a professional to have a look at it, & I guess all that it needed was to be reset. He showed me how & it was just this little button on the side I never noticed. I’m not sure if the Samsungs have those, but if they do, you might try it. Hope this helps.
