For those camera geeks, which digital cam. is better?
So I don’t know much about Cameras, but I am down to my last two choices.
There is the Canon SD1400IS:

Which is better and why?
I narrowed down by price, but I just don’t know quality of these brands.
Looking at what they both offer (720p recording, 14 mega pixels) they both are exactly the same. All that extra stuff that comes with it (face recognition, etc) is unnecessary and is only used as a selling point. I would personally go for the Nikon CoolPix S600 as I’ve never had trouble with Nikon. Both are excellent cameras, and Canon does produce excellent cameras too, but my vote is for Nikon on this.
