Sony Cybershot vs Olympus 850w?
I currently have a 7.2 mp Sony Cybershot digital camera, but I am thinking of getting the Olympus Stylus 850w because it’s waterproof, shock proof, and freeze proof. I am fairly happy with my sony, but I tend to be clumsy with cameras. Does anyone out there have the Olympus 850w? And are you satisfied with the picture quality?
I’m planning on using my Airmiles for a new camera. I have enough for the Olympus, but since I’m happy with my Sony should I maybe just go for the 10.0 Sony Cybershot? Please tell me what you think! Thanks!
Does anyone have any con’s about the Olympus camera’s?
This is a no-brainer. Take your Sony and drop it from about five feet up. Take your Sony and drop it in the pool. Take your Sony and stand on it. Do all of the above with the Olympus 850 or 1030. Use each camera to take some photos. Put a silicon skin on the Oly, and it won’t even get a scratch. I have the 1030 which is now selling for less than $200 and it is just about bulletproof.
