You paid for the developing whether they were good, bad or ugly. NOT WITH DIGITAL! You take – you load – you view – you decide – and THEN you pay, and only for the ones you want. Ain’t digital grand?

You took your pictures with the touch of a (shutter) button. It doesn’t take much more than that to email these images to family and friends all over the country – all over the world. If you have a website, it gets even easier.
I know, I know, “through rain, sleet or snow, the mail will always get through.” But NOT in 60 seconds – or less!
I could go on about the convenience, the affordability, the video capability (on some models) but you get the picture – the digital picture, that is!

Here is the deal with the printers. In my mind they are not worth buying. Your prints each cost atleast .25-.35. A store can print them for like .15. And they are a bettor quality! The stores will often run specials like any camera on this page and get a free printer. The printer makers are practicaly giving there printers away becouse they make there money on ink and paper.
So if still must have a printer look for sales. Otherwise forget the printer and go look at the Canon A-590. Has everything you want and then some. Buy 4AA rechargeable batteries,charger and a 1GB SD card and you are at about $200. Like I said the printers are a waste of money in my opinion. Many stores have 1 hour service.
