SD means and SD card up to 2GB in size
**SDHC means any SD card over 2GB in size
I would suggest a 2GB card at the very least…
12 MP means very large images that take up a lot of space on the memory card.
I have a Canon XSi (12 MP) and an 8GB SD card because I have discovered each individual RAW image occupies nearly 20MB.
That’s approximately 50 shots per 1 GB
