Samsung M8800 Pixon Amazing 8 Megapixel Digital Camera Phone
The Samsung Pixon is a magnificent edition to the already popular Samsung mobile phone family. The Samsung M8800 Pixon is a 3G HSDPA technology handset that comes with large 3.2 Inch touch screen that displays 262k colors on a 240 pixel by 400 pixel high screen resolution display. The phone comes with a built in 8 megapixel camera complete with easy to use imaging features and an integrated music player. This super looking phone may also been known as the Samsung M8800 Bresson or simply the Samsung M8800 pixon and is similar in looks & design to the popular Samsung i900 Omnia, Samsung F700 & the Nokia N96. The M8800 Pixon weighs 121 grams & measures approximately 13.8mm deep by 108mm long by 54.6mm wide. The phone includes two hundred megabytes of built in memory & has an expandable memory card slot to expand phone memory up to eight gigabytes by inserting memory card.
This imaging focused phone comes with an amazing 8 megapixel digital camera complete with auto focus feature that supports still image capture & high quality video footage capture. The phone supports video playing in many popular formats including MPEG4 & WMV and can store, play, download & share video recordings on their M8800 Pixon. The user can enjoy hands free call over the loud speakers. The M8800 supports a document viewer that allows the user to view Office documents including Word & Excel on their phone and messaging service known as SMS messaging, MMS messaging can send and receive on this beautiful phone. The M8800 Pixon also supports a mobile email service and WAP Web browser that allows the user to access the Web when searching for new ringing tones, music, games & much more.
The user can easily gain directions to desired locations by using a built in GPS receiver completes with A GPS function. A second camera that is located at the front of the handset is used when the user wishes to take part in a video call. The phone supports Bluetooth technology & USB connectivity to connect to other for data transfers. The rechargeable battery provides up to 290 hours of standby battery time or up to three & a half hours talk time. This super stylish phone works on a GSM UMTS network. The built in entertainment features includes a built in radio feature & a music player with excellent sound quality. Can you take a GPS unit through security checkpoint onto a commerical plane?
I am flying out of MCI or Kansas City International and I was just curious if I could take my GPS thing on with me as a carryon so that I can track the speed and where we are at an exact moment. I’m just big on speed and it would be fun as opposed to staring outside the window for 3 hours. Also could I take digital pictures with my camera if something seems interesting to do so? Thanks!
yes …..you can take it on the plane with you…but it will not work while you are on the plane…a GPS calculates from the ground to satellites it won’t work in the air…you would need an aviation GPS for you to be able to do that on the plane and I’m not sure you would even be allowed to use it…it might be like your cell phone it will have to remain off
and yes you can take pictures with your camera…i have several times and nothing was ever said to me
