Light rail service to Sea-Tac Airport
Seattle-Tacoma International Airport is served by light rail service from downtown Seattle and points between. Sound Transit Link light rail service begins at Westlake Center in downtown Seattle transit tunnel. Stops along the distance, in downtown Seattle include University Street, Pioneer Square and International District. The light rail line then passes through the Sodo District service Qwest Field, Qwest Field Event Center and Safeco Field.
Light rail service enters the Beacon Hill tunnel traffic with a stop at Beacon Hill, then follows Martin Luther King Jr. Way S. south, with stops at Mount Baker, the city of Colombia, Othello and Rainier Beach. You then have a stop at the Tukwila International Station Boulevard before arriving at Sea-Tac Airport. There are a total of eleven stops between Westlake Station in downtown Seattle and the airport. The journey from the center in any direction costs $ 2.50 and the journey of 15.6 miles one way takes thirty-six minutes to complete. The light rail station provides passengers with luggage cart rental, restrooms, public telephones, and climate protection in the waiting areas.
