a house built power Railgun (not a Gauss gun)?

I'm using a penny as my shell and capacitors of the camera my source of energy. but when i download the capacitors on the rails of the currency does not move. I think it is the welding of the rails. How I can avoid this?

I suspect that your condenser is not a sufficient source of power. You need a constant supply of current to the time it takes for the projectile to pass through the length of the rails. On the other hand, I doubt the effectiveness of contact between penny and rails, which would severely limit the current flow.
