Does anyone realize how dangerous red light cameras really? Those things are so dangerous for motorcycle incerdibally riders. It is literally a life or death decision to risk getting a fine or risk having the driver behind me become a hood ornament. Yes, what is their fault if they encounter the behind me, but that will really help me if I'm dead. Then to make matters worse the local govenments alter the duration yellow light and make it shorter in an effort to catch as many drivers as possible! In fact, I used to think that the red light cameras were a good idea, but after nearly being rear ended three times and have to stop a slide more than once because the guy ahead of me blocked from bankruptcy in a light that went from green to red immediately with just a flash of yellow light that I have completely changed my mind. I am with you, with the camera are a bad idea. In a perfect situation as traffic described in other posts, you are correct.
