HDR photos?

I've seen a lot of pictures using what I learned is called HDR and have been interested in trying to produce something similar if not the same. I read an article (http://www.vanilladays.com/hdr-guide/ whatishdr #) that indicates you need a camera that can shoot automatic exposure bracketing and Photmatix. Currently I have a Nikon D40x and Photoshop Elements 4.0 and Illustrator. Would it be possible to achieve the same style of HDR photos with this team or if you need another camera and digital processing software??

You will need a tripod and have to set your camera to take stand. I use Canon, so I can not help, but should be at the owner's manual. Go to: http://www.hdrsoft.com/ Download free trial software (which will put a watermark on its HDI, if you do not buy Software for $ 100). Find an interesting topic. Set your camera on a tripod and make sure they will not move between shots. Set your camera to take three exhibitions: correct, one overexposed and one underexposed. Import images into your computer and three in the program. Follow the instructions on the website of the software. Play with it and enjoy! You can edit after it in Photoshop. Here's a link you get 15% discount if you decide to buy the software: http://hdr101.com/photomatix-with-15-discount/ I hope this helps!-Edit-I looked at the photos on the site you provided. The demonstrators and the police came true after a shot and most likely prosecuted Photomatix. When shooting an HDR of a scene, like a landscape, set your camera for JPEG images at full size, white balance, and support of the shooting. The process by software. When shooting over an action scene, you can actually get a pseudo-HDR a shot. It is still processed using the Photomatix, but does not require the three bracketed shots. The only catch is you have to shoot in RAW. The one-shot-HDR can only be done with a RAW file, JPEG. Just import an image RAW in the software and convert it for you and for you the tone of route as if you were editing a photo with three exhibitions.
