Digital Photos lost from Nikon D300 memory card

Taking Baby Portrait………?

I tried to take a picture of like this one…..

, but it didn’t work. I used my Nikon D300 digital camera in my professional studio, with a black background, and net for the “baby bag” but it didnt come out right, I’m thinking it has something to do with the cloth for the baby bag… so what do you think I should use, and how should I use it?

Hi… that photo is similar to what Anne Geddes is known for. In her autobiography, “Labor of Love” there are some pages that show how she sets up her photoshoots. It’s not really a step by step book but it helps you get the idea… Now I don’t have the book in front of me but what I remember is that she takes the photos seperate and puts them together in photoshop. So instead of wrapping the baby up in tooling or other fabric and taking one picture, she photographs the baby in the position she wants, then photographs the fabric and puts them together in photoshop.
