Camera assistant software not working?

I have a Satellite A305-S6872 Toshiba laptop that came preinstalled with Windows Vista. It also comes with a built-in camera and voice recording device. Is a Chicony USB 2.0 camera and the laptop comes with the camera assistant software pre-loaded too. When you try to preview image streaming camera assistant software that gives an error message that says "Graph Rend fail." The blue LED lights are supposed to when you turn the camera does not turn. I also tried to restart the computer and clicking on the Chamber of software and help has obtained this error message "the webcam is not enabled or failed. Check the web camera settings" But I can not find the setting web camera anywhere, I've been searching all over online for a solution but nothing. Can someone please help.
