Sony Ericsson K800i: a Digital Camera in Disguise
Sony Ericsson has made quite a reputation for themselves with their camera centric K series mobile phones. Uncompromising camera features has been a treadmark of the K series. The Sony Ericsson K800i is a simple candy bar mobile phone fitted with a 262k coloured TFT screen and a tactile keypad. A lens cover protects the camera lens of the Sony Ericsson K800i as well as serves as the camera activation key. Just slide the lens cover and you’re ready to shoot.
Primary built in camera of the Sony Ericsson K800i is a massive 3.2 megapixel module. At the time of its release, the Sony Ericsson K800i was the highest resolution camera phone. Armed with all necessary imaging tools like digital zoom, autofocus and flash, the Sony Ericsson K800i clicks a great picture everytime you press the click. Unwilling to compromise, its manufacturers have opted for a full fledged Xenon flash instead of cheap LED flash. Loaded with amazing tools like ‘BestPic’ – a feature that captures nine photos in a row – the Sony Ericsson K800i is a serious threat to traditional digital camera.
Capabilities of this camera phone is not just limited to high quality imaging. This phone gives you high speed data connectivity in 3G network, takes part in video calls, supports triband GSM mobile networks, features GPRS technology with built in web browser, Bluetooth Infrared and USB connectivity, FM Radio and a media player comparable with a Walkman player.

Should I take the sticker off my new sony Cybershot W-30 Digital camera?
As a digital camera owner, you understand that most new cameras come with a sticker attached to the facia detaling megapixels and other camera features.
On one side, it doesnt look too bad, and provides extra grip on the smooth metal casing.
On the other hand, it may look better with it off, but at the expense of me dropping it.
Your arguments please, and your choice.
I can understand that you are very cautious with your new camera. But after the first holiday, and when the first scratches appear, it doesn’t bother anymore.
I always find it very poor looking if someone has the sticker on it. The only exception is the transparant sticker you sometimes find on a LCD screen from a MP3 player or mobile phone. This will protect against scratches.
All other parafernalia from the company with marketing terms on it are not needed for operation. Remove it.
